I was gonna do this last night, but I was so drained, I just passed out as soon as I made it to my futon (cause my bed sheets were in the wash). Anyway, last night, May 12 for those of us on the other side of the international date line, a friend of mine and I went to see Nightwish. They were supposed to have caome and gone back in October, but because of Hurricane Ike and Annette getting sick, that plan went all to hell. Well, at that time, I didn't know that they were in Houston, yes that's where I'm from, but my friend said they were coming back and they did and I saw them.

See, originally he and his girlfriend were gonna go as like an anniversary present, but that didn't work out on account they aren't dating anymore. So in early April myself, him, and another friend of ours were talking, I mentioned I had a birthday coming, I showed them a list I compiled of stuff I wanted and he noticed a lot of Nightwish albums that I need to buy. So he said he had a spare ticket and asked if I would love to go and I said yes and next thing I know a month passes and I'm standing surrounded by people cheering, screaming, and singing my lungs out! It was awesome!

According to my friend, this was my first concert and seeing performers at Rodeo Houston doesn't count. But whatever. I had such a great time, I knew the words to all the songs except Escapist. Haven't listened to that one enough. Anyway, I'm sure by now, SOMEONE has to have put up some vids of the concert so go take a peek, if not, here's the track list please listen, but just to remind everyone, Annette is Nightwish's new singer, songs 2, 3, 5, 8, 11, and 12 are originally done by their formers singer Tarja. So pick and chose adn enjoy. I'm gona make some tea and get some feeling back in my vocal cords.
